| The standards for the Airline Transport rating are higher than those
for a Commercial rating. Generally, the ATP check ride is
considered to be an advanced instrument check ride. Additional
emphasis is placed on the operation of high performance and complex
aircraft. |
| The Airline Transport Certificate is normally required in order to
fly for a commercial airline. |
